Latin Night: Havana Night

Immerse yourself in a celebration of Latin culture and celebrate the rhythms of South America at Chehalem Cultural Center.

Originating in Puerto Rico and Cuba, the modern perception of salsa dancing developed in 1970's New York, when several Latin cultures added their own influence to the dance. In doing so they created a "salsa". A little inspiration from each place, combined to make this beautiful dance. Come learn a bit more about this dance, take a lesson for yourself, and enjoy Latin American food and drinks. It will be an evening to remember.

Beginners are welcome, and no partner is needed.
