You are cordially invited to The Colossal Collection at The Erin Hanson Gallery.
Artist Erin Hanson unveils her newest collection of impressionist artworks, inspired by wide-open landscapes and subjects that cannot be contained on the average canvas. This August, join Erin for her collection release party celebrating The Colossal Collection.
This collection will exclusively feature large-scale, original oil paintings inspired by beautiful color and light. Erin has been known to paint enormous pieces before, either on one canvas or on multiple panels. Her largest single-canvas painting was "Field of Blooms," 13 feet wide x 9.5 feet tall. Her longest painting was created on six panels (yes, a hexaptych), and depicted a 216-inch-wide view of the Grand Canyon. Erin is excited to fill the gallery walls with a new collection of immersive-sized works. She says her goal is "to make the viewer feel like they can step right off this world and into my canvas."
The Colossal Collection is filled with works depicting a variety of subjects in Hanson’s bold, Open Impressionism style. You will be greeted by enormous artworks bursting with glorious color and texture. Each piece celebrates the beauty of the natural world and captures the artist’s impression of a single moment.
