Corvallis Comedy Night: KC Shornima

KC Shornima grew up in Nepal, started comedy in Tennessee, and now works in Midtown Manhattan as a writer on Saturday Night Live. To say she's going places seems a gross understatement. Following in the dark and dirty tradition of such envelope-pushers as Anthony Jeselnik and Nikki Glaser, KC Shornima’s punchlines both shock and awe. As a stand-up, KC has been named to Just for Laughs’ prestigious New Faces lineup and opened for everyone from Dave Attell to Nate Bargatze. And as a writer, she’s been nominated for three Emmys for her work on SNL and also wrote for the 2024 White House Correspondents’ Dinner. KC Shornima is one of the most exciting young comedians in the country.
