Seffarine
Embrace the beauty of music at this special Valentine’s Day concert in PRAx' cabaret space. Seffarine takes its name from the ancient metalworking square in Fez, Morocco, famous for the complex rhythms that ring out from the blacksmiths’ hammers. It’s where vocalist Lamiae Naki’s family is well known as masters of the tradition. With Spanish multi-instrumentalist and flamenco player Nat Hulskamp, Seffarine draws inspiration from both sides of the Strait of Gibraltar, fusing Arabic, Iberian and West African cultures.
