The Oregon Track Club Butte to Butte, presented by Rexius, features a 10K, 5K, and 4-Mile Mayor’s Walk. Known throughout the community as “The People’s Race,” this iconic event has been a beloved Fourth of July tradition for 52 years. A festive way to kick off Independence Day, the Butte to Butte attracts thousands of runners and walkers from Eugene and around the world each year! The race begins at Spencer Butte Middle School and finishes near Skinner’s Butte on 5th Street, highlighting its deep roots in Eugene’s history. After crossing the finish line, participants enjoy a lively post-race festival at 5th Street Public Market, featuring vendors, food and beverages, a beer garden, live music, photo opportunities, and more.
