The Confederated Tribes of Grand Ronde - Veterans Powwow

Each summer, the Confederated Tribes of Grand Ronde host a vibrant Veterans Powwow, a rich celebration of Native American culture and heritage. Set against the natural beauty of the region, this three-day gathering honors veterans and showcases traditional practices, dances, and songs. Visitors can expect lively drumming, colorful regalia, and storytelling that connects past and present. The event also includes family-friendly activities and educational sessions that offer deeper insight into tribal traditions and values. With food from local vendors and a strong sense of community spirit, the powwow creates a welcoming space for all to learn, reflect, and appreciate the enduring legacy of the area’s original residents. It’s a genuine way to connect with Oregon’s cultural roots during the warm summer months.
