3 Ways to Romance Your Sweetheart in Corvallis, Oregon

By Stacey Gregory

Valentine's Day is coming up quickly and you need something amazing to do with your sweetie... Don't worry: Corvallis has your back.

Dinner & Theatre

Corvallis is home to a bounty of excellent restaurants running the gamut from fine dining to pub fare, casual to upscale, Middle Eastern to Southwestern, and just about everything in between. We also have two stage theaters, the Majestic and the Whiteside; an independent theater specializing in art films and indie movies, Darkside Cinema; and live performances including dance and music at the LaSells Stewart Center. Pick a great show, make reservations at one of our restaurants, and enjoy an awesome night out.

Intrigue & Danger

Hey, did you know Corvallis has an escape room? We do, and it's a blast. Reserve one of two themed puzzle rooms at Escape Corvallis - they have a spy-themed room and a zombie outbreak-themed room. You may want to make this one a double or group date with some friends because 4-10 players are recommended. Afterwards go hunt down the Whisper Project, Corvallis' hidden speakeasy serving innovative, classy cocktails, for celebratory drinks (or consolation drinks, depending on how you do in the escape room).

Wine & Relaxation

Maybe you want to treat the love of your life to a day of luxury and pampering. How about a spa day and some wine tasting? Book an appointment at Epic Day Spa, which offers packages of three to seven hours that include massages and more. Afterwards, visit one of our local boutique wineries for a tasting. Cardwell Hill Cellars is open daily, Lumos Wine Co. and Spindrift Cellars are open on the weekends, and several more of our area wineries will open by appointment.

Make a Weekend of It!

If you're really looking for a spectacular Valentine's experience, book a hotel and do all three! Spend the weekend in Corvallis celebrating your love and creating a memory with your partner that you'll cherish for years to come.
